PRIVACY POLICY
Information we collect
We may collect information you provide when you use Drop In, including your name, email address, phone number, booking details and communications with us.
If you apply to become a Club Partner, we may also collect your business or club details, contact information, activity information, location and information submitted through our application form.
Our website and service providers may also collect technical information such as device information, IP address, browser information and cookie or analytics data.
Our legal basis for using your information
Depending on why we are using your information, we rely on one or more lawful bases under GDPR.
These may include processing necessary to provide a service or fulfil a booking, complying with legal obligations, your consent where required, and our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving Drop In.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Payments
When you make a payment through Drop In, payment information is processed securely by the payment provider used by the platform. Drop In may receive information relating to the transaction, such as payment status, amount and booking details, but does not directly store your full payment card or banking details. Payment providers process your information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing our services, maintaining appropriate business and booking records, resolving disputes and meeting legal, tax or regulatory requirements.
Different types of information may therefore be kept for different periods. When information is no longer required, we will delete or anonymise it where appropriate.
Your data protection rights
Under GDPR, you may have rights in relation to your personal information, including the right to access your information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict certain processing, object to certain processing and receive certain information in a portable format.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent.
To exercise your rights, contact info@dropin.ie.
You also have the right to raise a concern or lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission.
