TERMS & CONDITIONS

The important stuff. Made simple.

These terms explain how Drop In works and what you agree to when using our platform or making a booking.

Last updated: September 2026

About Drop In

Our role as a platform

Drop In is an Ireland-based platform that helps people discover and book individual activities, classes and experiences offered by participating Club Partners.

These Terms & Conditions apply when you use the Drop In website or make a booking through Drop In. By completing a booking, you agree to these terms

Drop In operates as a platform connecting customers with Club Partners.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the activity itself is delivered by the relevant Club Partner, which is responsible for operating and delivering that activity.

Drop In remains responsible for the services that Drop In itself provides and for obligations that cannot legally be excluded or transferred.

Using Drop In

You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when making a booking or contacting us.

You are responsible for checking the activity details, including the date, time, location, price and any participation requirements, before completing your booking.

You must not use Drop In fraudulently, unlawfully or in a way that interferes with the operation of the platform.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by law, Drop In is not responsible for losses caused solely by the acts or omissions of an independent Club Partner in providing an activity, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the booking was made.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.

Activities and Club Partners

Website availability and accuracy

Activities available through Drop In are provided by independent clubs, businesses, instructors and activity providers that we call Club Partners.

Club Partners are responsible for delivering their activities and for providing accurate information about their sessions, facilities and participation requirements.

Drop In helps customers discover and book these activities but does not itself provide the underlying activity unless expressly stated otherwise.Drop In is designed to allow customers to try activities without pressure to join a club, purchase a membership or sign up for additional services. Club Partners are expected to respect this principle when welcoming Drop In customers.

We aim to keep activity information accurate and the Drop In website available, but occasional errors, interruptions or technical problems may occur.

Activity availability, schedules and other details may change.

If we become aware of a material error affecting your booking, we will take reasonable steps to correct it and contact you where appropriate.

Bookings

A booking is for the specific activity, date and time shown during the booking process.

Your place is not confirmed until the booking process has been successfully completed and you receive confirmation.

Bookings are subject to availability and any capacity or participation limits applicable to the activity.

Prices and payments

The price displayed through Drop In at the time of booking is the price you pay for that booking.

Where online payment is required, payment must be completed using the payment method made available during the booking process.

Drop In may use third-party payment providers to process payments. The payment provider may apply its own terms and privacy policy to its services.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Drop In website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, submit fraudulent bookings or use the platform for unlawful purposes.

We may restrict access to Drop In where reasonably necessary to protect customers, Club Partners, the platform or other users.

Intellectual property

The Drop In name, branding, website design and original content belong to Drop In or are used with permission.

You may use the website for your own personal use but may not copy, reproduce or commercially exploit Drop In content without permission, except where permitted by law.

Images or content supplied by Club Partners may remain the property of their respective owners.

Cancellations and refunds

Our Cancellation & Refund Policy forms part of these terms.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, cancellations made at least 12 hours before the scheduled start of an activity are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the activity, and failure to attend, are generally non-refundable.

Exceptional circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Nothing in our cancellation arrangements affects any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

Changes and cancellations by Club Partners

Sometimes a Club Partner may need to cancel an activity or make a significant change to its time, location or nature.

If a Club Partner or Drop In cancels your booked activity, you will be entitled to a full refund.

If a significant change is made after you have booked, contact Drop In and we will help resolve the situation.

Attending an activity

You are responsible for arriving at the correct location and at the appropriate time for your activity.

Club Partners may have reasonable rules relating to their premises, equipment, clothing, conduct or participation. You must follow reasonable instructions given by the Club Partner while attending an activity.

Arriving late may affect whether you can safely participate and does not automatically entitle you to a refund.

Health, safety and participation

Activities can involve different levels of physical effort and risk. You are responsible for considering whether an activity is suitable for you before participating.

You should tell the Club Partner about any relevant information where necessary for your safe participation and follow safety instructions provided by the Club Partner.

If you are unsure whether an activity is appropriate for you, you should seek appropriate professional advice before participating.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so

Children and young people

Some activities may be suitable for children or young people and may have specific age restrictions or participation requirements.

Where a booking is made for a person under 18, the person making the booking must be legally entitled to make the booking on their behalf and must ensure that any applicable Club Partner requirements are followed.

A Club Partner may refuse participation where its stated age, supervision or safety requirements are not met.

Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, who we may share it with and your data protection rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions as Drop In develops or where changes are required for legal, regulatory or operational reasons.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.

Changes will not retrospectively alter the terms of a booking already made where doing so would unfairly disadvantage you

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Irish law.

Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory consumer protections or rights that apply to you under Irish or applicable EU law.
